Technical problem logging in

Sometimes there may be a technical challenge with either the security on your browser (such as Internet Explorer) or security settings in your Internet security software (such as Norton anti-virus).

Our site is secured with a system that puts a “cookie” on your computer so that when you come back to our site, our server recognizes your by recognizing the code in your browser “cookie”. Some people set their security system so that it disallows your browser from identifying the coded cookie to our server.

Settings in your browser or security software need to allow your browser to identify itself to our server. Settings may need to be changed or turned off to do that, on your system.

Should you be concered about turning off that security? No: Our servers are not seeking and can not access any personal information through your browser, just the information you explicitly provide us to identify yourself when you sign up to the site. The logging in problem relates to the technical problem of passing generic browser and server information in order to idenify you in terms of the browser you are using.

You may have difficulty logging in if you fail to log out.

And you may have difficulty logging in if you attempt to do so through more than one computer. In other words, you will not be able to pass your password and username around for the use of others.
