What can I do at Jazzwines.com

And other recent questions...

With jazzwines.com in its early days, we’ve had extraordinary unprompted interest in the site from winemakers, jazz musicians and educators. We’ve learned fast that, yes indeed, jazzwines.com lives at the intersection of these two talented communities and a worldly public audience seeking out the creative lifestyle.

In our new space, some have asked, “What can I do here?” To which we say, you can do a lot now. And there will be a lot more happening in September.

Now, you can:

* Read articles, profiles, interviews, and notices of upcoming events;

* Keep up to date with wine and jazz related news feeds.

You can sign up for a FREE membership:

* Use our Wine Guide to locate, with maps, wineries, winemakers and their wines.

* Read wine makers’ notes;

* Learn about jazz, musicians, events and online programs;

* Use the jazz and wine event calendars;

* Submit articles and comment on music performances, events & tastings.

We’ve got some exciting contributions lined up as a result of our work with WBGO in the New York area and, in particular, with IAJE. In September into November, we’ll be inviting in members of the vast community at Zagat.com.

Coming in September, you’ll also be able to set up a personal MyJazzwines profile and participate in the full jazzwines.com Experience. It’s an initiative to explore creative inspirations and processes with both jazz and winemaking communities. So it’s a chance to go one-to-one with other creative people.

We’ll also be building in opportunity for members to track and, if they like, to share their memorable moments at jazz performances and when wine tasting. Through a new feature area, members can save and provide their recommendations of potential benefit to others.

You can also SUBSCRIBE:

* Do everything possible as a free member, plus:

* Use our Destination Guide to jazz and wine destinations;

* Submit calendar events and invite others to attend;

* Rate and/or comment on wine, as well as read other member’s comments

* Receive other exclusive invitations;

* With a Premium Subscription, receive your choice of Guide book or jazz CD.

For winemakers and jazz musicians, we’re also setting up a number of programs to reach out and invite your direct participation to inform our Guides. If you’re here now and want to tell us about what you’re doing, then please contact us.

If you want to contribute, by telling us what you’d like to see going on at jazzwines.com, then please contact us. Or if you want to submit an article then please sign up as a free member and contact us.

We appreciate your visit, ideas and participation.

Welcome!
