Centered around and named for the historic city of Albany, this sub-region is situated on the south-eastern coast of the South West Australia Zone. The Mediterranean climate provides an ideal balance of humidity, heat and sea breeze, known locally as the Albany Doctor, producing fine Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
