Origins : Blackwood Valley
About
Blackwood Valley is a region in the South West Australia Zone. It is situated due west of Margaret River and shares its wet, warm winters and cool dry summers. Being further inland, Blackwood has more continental extremes with predictably cooler temperatures in the winter and hotter ones in the summer. The Darling Plateau System provides well-drained gravelly loam soils.
