Origins : Tumbarumba

 
 

About

Tumbarumba is a remote wine region, on the lower slopes of the Snowy Mountains, in New South Wales. The climate here is cool, with high sunshine hours and cold summer nights. The soil is typical gritty mountain soils derived from granite and basalt. Both climate and soil combine to produce mostly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir used chiefly for sparkling wines.
