About Colombard

Colombard was traditionally used in France for distilling into Cognac and Armagnac. Today it is still grown in some French regions—Bordeaurx and Gascony—but it is now used more commonly as a dry, white blend.  Colombard produces a fruity, acidic wine of interesting character in both dry and sweet versions

Popular Region: South Africa, Australia, France, California.
