Varietal : Tempranillo
About Tempranillo
Tempranillo is the noble grape of Spain—the predominate grape of Rioja—common in Argentina and most recently growing roots in Australia. Tempranillo thrives in cool weather but offers little resistance to pests or disease.
Tempranillo is often oaked. It has good color, and bright fruity flavor with low acid and tannins making it pleasantly drinkable, and an excellent choice for a wide range of food pairings.
