Varietal : Verdelho

 
 

About Verdelho

Originally from the Portugese Island of Maderia and used in sweeter wines, Verdelho is now a fresh, aromatic, dry, white wine grown in Austrailia.

An alternative to Chardonnay, Verdelho has bright fruity tropical flavours such as pineapple and guava. The varietal expresses a spiciness, both on the nose and the palate, with citrus and herbaceous overtones.
